Susan is certain it is not her as she has always believed she was unable to conceive but when the girls meet the boys in the bar Patrick declares his feelings for Sally and it turns out that by some miracle Susan is actually pregnant - by Steve.

Season/Series 3 of "Coupling" improves significantly on season two of the series and comes close to being as great and memorable as series one (not that this show didn't remain great and memorable right through the end). This series not only provides hysterically funny episodes (including two real classics, "Unconditional Sex" and "The Girl With One Heart", as well as the finale, "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps", which is made one of the best episodes purely by a line Patrick says well into the episode). However, I found that "Remember This" isn't quite as good as its reputation and not quite as good as I remember it from its original transmission.

This was the last series for the character of Jeff, who provided most of the really big laughs. Moffat coped considerably well with series 4, but it was the weakest of the four series and thankfully he quit while ahead.

Season average based on ratings for all episodes: 9.15/10
