Night of the Living Cat Girl (2007) Online

When the Parasol Corporation 'accidentally' releases the C Virus into Ferret City's water supply, all of the Cat Girls begin dying... except one. The Zombie Cat Girl and her army of evil bunnies has taken over. Now, the last three Cat Girls left alive head for the only place they think they will be safe, a cabin in the middle of the Haunted Forest. With more anime, horror movie, video game, and sci-fi references than you should make bad cat puns about, Hitomi, Fuko, and Narumi must try and survive the Night of the Living Cat Girl
Credited cast:
Lauren Cullen Lauren Cullen - Narumi
Randy Kilgore Randy Kilgore - The Evil Rabbit Cat
Madeleine Martin Madeleine Martin - Hitomi
Amber Neko Meador Amber Neko Meador - The Zombie Cat Girl (as Nathaniel Meador)
Whitney Stinson Whitney Stinson - Fuko

The address of The Parasol Corporation on the name board is 221b Baker Street, this is the fictional London address of Sherlock Holmes.

The movie was actually filmed using 2 different locations that were 'mirror' opposites. So about half of the footage had to be 'flipped' to match.

The character Hitomi was named after the directors favorite chapter of 'The Grudge'. Fuko was named after the character in 'I My Me! Strawberry Eggs'. The director used the name Naruimi because they wanted a character whose name started with an N.

Yes I ask the question why? As in Why hasn't any one done this sooner? If you know anything about Anime, Video Games, or just like movies that involve a very out reaching story this is the ticket. I have to say I did in fact enjoy my time spent watching.

For a low budget movie its not bad, after all look at some of the multi million dollar movies that come out today and tell me how many of those will be memorable in 2 year.

-What I liked: Fun story and jokes. Original plot it was silly but it was different. -What was a lasting moment?: "Remember Aldaron." You have to see it to understand. -Sound: Sounded pretty good on 7.1 but it would probably be better on 5.1 -What are the down sides.: Well there are a few scenes in the movie that seem a little lacking but the action scenes more than make up for that.

This is Indie film-making in its true form. Nowadays, everyone sees films at Cannes and Sundance and believes that "Hey, Independent Film is just like Hollywood..." In reality, Independent film is about doing things that aren't being done in the Mainstream.

This film is a great example of having an idea, shaping that idea, watching it grow and change and ultimately become something truly unique and original. It doesn't take Million-dollar budgets to produce great entertainment. (I'm looking at you, Old-school BBC productions like Dr. Who and Red Dwarf...) Yes, the film is campy; It's supposed to be... but it's also very fun.

In the spirit of Anime, video gaming, and even good old Horror films, (Come back to your roots, Sam Raimi...) this film plays with all these themes and has a great time with it.

Cute spoof. Night of the Living Cat Girl focuses on the activities of three cat girls, and their response to the threat of annihilation by a mysterious zombie cat girl. Not the greatest thing I've ever seen, but good for it's genre. The characters flirt with three dimensionality, which results in much more character depth than would be expected in a spoof. Filled with puns and references to pop culture, the film flows with an odd sense of direction characteristic of the director. In spite of the film's low production budget, it is remarkably well shot and executed. While not likely to be lauded as a masterpiece of any kind, Night of the Living Cat Girl is sure to become a cult classic among fans of cheesy horror films.
