Conch Shell is a teenager's poetic narrative of his current experience. At 17 years old, Tianjingsha(Vinnie) struggles like millions other youngsters in the world -what's the purpose of life and what's my worth in life? Born and raised in Beijing, Tianjingsha comes to rural Maine, USA, under his parents' desire to have him attend a top university. But all he loves is making music and film. After a music melody strikes him one morning, he believes a dreamworld-the magnificent and mysterious Tibet Plateau, is calling him. In hope of getting a direction for his future, Vinnie starts to interview and film the local people in the small town in Maine.
