Steptoe and Son Robbery with Violence (1962–2016) Online

Albert accidentally knocks over Harold's china cabinet, smashing its contents. Scared to face his son he hides the broken pieces along with other items, knocks himself unconscious and claims he was robbed by five skinheads and a Pakistani. Harold calls the police who commend Albert on his bravery in tackling the intruders. He is even awarded a medal. It looks like he might just have got away with it until Harold looks in the old gas cooker and makes an unwelcome discovery.

Albert becomes a have a go hero when he is attacked by intruders to the junkyard. He is even given a police medal for bravery.

The reality is a lot different. Albert knocked over Harold's china cabinet while hoovering up. Scared to tell Harold about his broken porcelain he knocks himself unconscious tells a fantastic tale about being beaten up by five skinheads with stocking on their face and a Pakistani gentleman.

However Harold later discovers the truth and gets his own back but Albert is still in the money when the press come knocking.

This is a rediscovered episode and the picture quality wavers. There a nice droll performance from Dudley Foster as the detective.
