Eight hundred persons worshiped one night recently in Elbethel Methodist Church, in Spartanburg, S.C., which was completely built in a day. The first nail was driven at 6 o'clock in the morning by Mayor A.H. Kirby, who said the edifice was handsomer than the first Methodist Church which required a year to build. One hundred and fifty carpenters, painters, paperhangers, plumbers, electrical workers, and other artisans, working by a carefully arranged system, had the structure completed by sunset. By 7 o'clock the mission heads were installed, the aisles carpeted, the altar placed and decorated with dowers, and a piano was in place in the choir loft. During the day the work excited the interest of many people and it is estimated that fully 18,000 persons visited the spot and watched the progress of the erection of the building.

Released as a split reel along with the comedy The Foreign Invasion (1912).
