On a link from Cartoon Brew, I found info about this Charles and Ray Eames animated short on the Cartoon Modern one which is authored by one of the Brewmasters, Amid Amidi. That article then linked to Archive.org this brief film designed by Dolores Cannata. With a score by Elmer Bernstein, this was quite a fascinating document about computers and their function as adding machines as presented by the IBM exhibit at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Not much movement but plenty of fascinating drawings illustrating the use of what were also referred to as calculators. Quite informative about these computers' function as they were then. So on that note, The Information Machine is worth a look for anyone interested in this sort of thing.
